I just joind because I noticed atf banned posting your messenger info in your profile which greatly impedes making actual friends that don't remain internet strangers, are you saying this site has the same stupid rule? and not necessarily a problem but what does this forum care what I do on the messaging platforms not associated with 76zzz29? As written in the first line of the rules. The rules as for today are vaguely copied from ATF and will be changed to be different when I get the time to rewrite the big wall of text myself. Personally, I don't really care about you posting your information. But remember that as I try to make thing so even in case of legal notice I won't have data to link account to peoples. Posting your phone number will definitely make a link between your account and your IRL person. Anyone can access your account's information, that mean any hater could just spam you and potentially find you IRL.

Just my own thoughts on the matter; If it was say a contact link on a Messenger (such as Telegram for example), myself I'm okay with that, but of course avoiding publicly sharing of personal identifiable info (full real name, phone #, address, etc...) to try to stay safe and avoid doxing oneself.

As an artist, I've also been able to do art commissions this way as well, being much easier, better able, and more secure and private, to communicate with a client, arrange the details, share previews of work-in-progress, get feedback (if they wanted any changes made or if they're satisfied with how it's looking) and then give them the finished artworks when it's ready.

makes sense I ideally would invite people I meet to my autusum group in NC once I talk to them elseware and that's how I'd go about making friends
