I would very much like to have another place welcoming different people and providing shared space for content and discussions without too many limits. The framework is here, but I doesn't seem like there's any outside interest or guarantees that it will grow. I want to invite more people but not sure if I should.

Do you have anyone to vouch for you and encourage people to come here? You need moderators and other help to supply an adequate replacement even for a fraction of ATF users. Anyone checking this forum right now will see not only empty categories, but also the lack of endorsement or any guarantees about safety besides admin's words. And how secure is this phpBB and server from cyber attacks?

Ok, so to begin with, no, I have no one to bring people here other than my 3 post on ATF.
I have yet to start recruiting moderators (I am aware that I would need some before hitting the hundred users).
It's kinda empty but it's not even 2 weeks old and still under development so it normal.
as for the risk of cyber attack, the only link to the server containing the Forum's database is the forum itself. and I filtered out somes information like the IP from the database (by default phpBB save your IP when creating an account, I made server that say what domaine name go on what server hard code the IP to ::1) the only personal information stored would be the email (because I plan to set up an automated mail when new posts are made and when you get a PM) and an encrypted password (not supposed to be decipherable). no direct acces to the database is possible (only the Forum's server have acces to it on the local network). making theoricaly my own password and account the weakest and only point in the security (I have acces to the administration panel)
