Just my own thoughts on the matter; If it was say a contact link on a Messenger (such as Telegram for example), myself I'm okay with that, but of course avoiding publicly sharing of personal identifiable info (full real name, phone #, address, etc...) to try to stay safe and avoid doxing oneself ...

Yes, a 'thumbnail' / preview image would be much preferable for me as well when I post some of my artwork / images.
As it is for now, with the inline, I think it takes up too much space and could also add to the bandwidth usage and perhaps slow down the site or loading of some pages as well (maybe ...

What's the max file size for videos / mp4 files?
If the limit isn't too small then was thinking I might upload some of my short animations / vids.

Aside from some of the things already mentioned by others, is there a way you can add a simple like / thumbs-up type option to posts?
So in that way it's another form of engagement and to perhaps gage interest, and it would take up less size, space, help keep things less cluttered than making ...
